Our mission
Sustainability on college campuses directly impacts sustainability on a larger scale. The impacts of plastic, mass energy consumption, and waste have been severe to our planet. Our mission at the Sustainable Organization Design committee is to inform and encourage, through online resources, quizzes, and workshops, the increase of sustainable practices in Cornell's organizations. It is imperative that Cornell's organizations adapt to a more sustainable lifestyle as they are seen with higher academic reverence and can serve to spread their messages even farther. Making sustainability a major focus for clubs, teams, and organizations can influence the campus culture and create a more world-focused community at Cornell and beyond.

Why Go sustainable?
Creating a sustainable campus is one of Cornell's driving missions. From the moratorium of fossil fuels to the large number of sustainability clubs, Cornell's leaders are adamant on making a positive change in their communities. It's only fair the campus and organizations' cultures follow suit. A sustainable campus culture can influence a greater sense of happiness through the recognition of one's world impact. Below are some more facts on why to go sustainable and at the end we have created a quiz for you to see the options available to your organization.
